Just in case you missed it, the video below is the viral clip of a Labrador who taught his puppies to swim. This footage has been making rounds for some time now, and a definite hit! The vid shows how awesome dogs can be and that they have this survival instinct in them. It is one of the proofs that even the ‘modern’ dogs that we have tamed in our homes still have the characteristics of their ancient ancestors. Aside from that, what is really adorable in this video is the show of love and communication between the father and his puppies. It is just so lovely to see that they can really communicate in a way that we may not understand but often see in their interactions.

A Labrador or Labrador Retriever is one of the most chosen breeds to own or adopt. It originated from Newfoundland, an east coast large island in Canada. Being from an island, it is easy to conclude that swimming is the norms for this breed. On top of that, this breed is one of the most agile, even-tempered, friendly, kind, intelligent, outgoing, and trusting dogs.

What more, they are beauteous in their classic chocolate, yellow, and black shades. Female Labradors grow between 55 and 60 centimeters, weighing 25 up to 32 kilograms. Males, on the other hand, can grow between 57 and 62 centimeters, weighing 29 to 36 kilograms. Their lifespan is between 10 to 14 years. You will definitely have a lot of time to spend together with this wonderful dog.
