Dogs are known to learn various skills that their humans teach them. They learn things like shaking hands with people, rolling over, playing fetch and more. This puppy, however, displays one of the unique skills of dogs (and even humans) —playing the piano.

This pup from Long Island became famous on the internet after his video of piano-playing became viral. Not every dog (or even person) can showcase this musical talent. So, this is a very unlikely but adorable sight for every dog lover out there.

Buddy Mercury, a pup with a mixed breed of beagle and basset hound, has his video break the internet with his remarkable talent. The clip shows how he enthusiastically taps the keyboard with his front paws. He’s also standing with his hind legs while doing it.

His “show” doesn’t end there. Aside from using his paws and legs to play music, he also “sings” his heart out. You can watch the video where he howls while tilting his head backward. It’s as if he’s having the concert of his life!

According to Glen Wolfe, one of Buddy’s owners, there are other videos out there showing how beagles love music. They love listening to it and sometimes, they “sing along” with the songs.

Glen Wolfe and Laurie, the pup’s owners, said that Buddy didn’t receive any musical training with them or with anyone. Maybe, Buddy found inspiration from the origin of his name. After all, he was named after Freddie Mercury, Queen’s lead vocalist.

Buddy usually gets some treats after making his performance. He became popular way back in February 2017 when his video was posted on Youtube. But, after a clip of his “mini-concert” was shared recently on TikTok, a video-sharing app, he reached a wider audience and became more popular to a younger audience.
