Jane Dansen, a Coronation Street actress, gave a rescue dog a new home. She adopted the pooch from an animal shelter in Thameside.
Jane adopted Millie, a two-year-old Labrador. Millie came from a Denton shelter, the Dogs Trust Manchester.
Jane took Millie home with her. Now, Millie stays with Jane and her husband, Rob, and she enjoys the company of her two human siblings. The pup definitely felt the family’s warm welcome.
According to Jane, she and her husband are used to being around dogs ever since they were little. They have been really thinking about adopting a dog soon. No wonder, they felt that it was just appropriate that they took Millie home when they met her at the Dogs Trust Manchester shelter.
The two fell in love with Millie from the first time they saw her. They immediately felt comfortable around her, and they knew that adding the pooch to the family will be one of the best decisions that they will make.
Jane narrates how Millie loves playing with balls and running around. The pooch also loves cuddling with the rest of the family. It’s always an adorable sight to see Millie look so happy around people.
The Dogs Trust Manchester mentioned that Jane is just one of the Coronation Street casts who adopted a dog from them. Millie Is the third dog to find a new home with the soap’s cast.
Background artist Adam Blease, adopted a Spaniel pup from the shelter. The other cast was Daniel Brocklebank, an actor who is known for his role as Billy Mayhew in Coronation Street, adopted Colin, a Dachshund.
Dogs Trust Manchester aims to find forever homes to pets remaining under their care. So far, they have successfully given 4,000 dogs to their new owners. Hopefully, they find the others a new home as well.
