Kristofer Goldsmith was on his way to Vietnam Veterans of America when he saw a dog walking alone. It had a t-shirt and a collar, but the collar did not have any identification. He decided to bring it home and post its photos on a social media site to find its real owners. Fortunately, some staff members of Vetco clinic were able to identify the dog’s name and age. His name was Frosting, and he was eight months old.
They contacted his owners too; in fact, they left them a message about him. Kristofer didn’t plan to leave Frosting in a shelter, so he decided to foster it in his home. Apparently, Kristofer was an animal lover, and he also had some cats in his home.
Kristofer reached out to police officers to check if someone reported about a lost dog. When he contacted the Vetco clinic again, the staff members confirmed that they were able to call Frosting’s owner whose name was Rene. Unfortunately, the call was interrupted, so they were uncertain if she would call again.
Frosting’s owner seemed to abandon him intentionally; therefore, Kristofer decided to adopt him. When Rene didn’t call again after one week, they finally decided to adopt him. Frosting truly loved his new home with his forever family; he adjusted well from the start. He was really a good dog; in fact, he was well-behaved even in a restaurant. Kristofer admitted that he couldn’t resist his charm and kindness.
Kristofer and his wife, Lauren, celebrated Frosting’s first anniversary in their home. They even rented a hotel room to celebrate. He was very fortunate to find his forever family after his owner’s abandonment. Now, he really enjoys his life with his new parents who always try their best to give him the most satisfying life that he deserves.
